Save the date for Fundraising Galas

October 13, 2016

Visualizing how your fundraising event will look, feel, sound and even taste begins by collaborating with your gala host committee. The leadership of this team will have strong feelings for the charity they are representing and for the theme of event they are hosting. They desire for their guests to be engaged and interested in attending, well before the actual event.

For the Texas Center for the Missing 2017 gala, PRISM created a distinctive and rousing club design that will be held at The Astorian, located here in Houston. The proceeds of this event will be benefiting Texas Center for the Missing, Houston’s Amber Alert Provider.

We’ll post more visuals as it gets closer to the event. You can purchase tickets today or even become a sponsor. This group brings hope and healing to the missing and their families through crisis intervention, prevention, and community education.

Celebrating a golden relationship.

Black tie or tie-dye? Classic or groovy. Iconic styles. Spy themed colors, patterns, and illustrations that visualize the essence of both James Bond and Austin Powers.

We experienced “partnership mojo” with the folks from Texas Center for the Missing (TCM) as they invited us to design the communications for their fundraising gala: “Super Spy Showdown”.

Texas Center for the Missing is here to serve the community. It’s a local nonprofit, dedicated to bringing hope and healing to the missing and their families through crisis intervention, prevention and community education.

For the design, we incorporated smart, creative and budget friendly print techniques so more of the funds raised would help keep children and loved ones safe, which in the end, won us Gold! The Gold Hermes Creative Award that is, for the TCM Super Spy Showdown Gala Invitation and Save the Date.

Easy and fun. Engaging for James Bond lovers and/or Austin Powers aficionados to choose their spy. From start to finish the communications featured popular movie titles, taglines and quotes.

A very simple angle cut and fold were included in the design of the save the date to introduce both James Bond and Austin Powers.

We’re delighted to share this accomplishment with TCM and look forward to future collaboration. Read more about the success of the gala showdown here.

Chip + Mobile + PRISM = SUCCESS

May 12, 2016

The Prism Design team was just awarded a Silver Communicator Award and two Platinum Hermes Creative Awards for the CITGO “Chip & Mobile™ Quick Start Guide” and “Getting to Yes’ incentives supplement.

We share these honors with our brilliant wordsmith Elizabeth Fordham at Quill & Ink.

AGY-1090 CITGO POST CHIPMOBILEBig changes were on the horizon in Point of Sales (POS), and our client needed to inform their retailers about upgrading their POS technology. The message and materials needed to be easy for the retailers to understand: what’s changing, how, when and where to make the proper upgrades to benefit their business. Two pieces were created, “Chip & Mobile™ Quick Start Guide” and “Getting to Yes’ incentives supplement. The quick start guide provided the retailers all they needed to know to make informed decisions concerning their POS technology. The incentives supplement was a snapshot of key dates and incentive offers to assist the marketers.AGY-1090 CITGO POST CHIPMOBILE_GUIDES2

PacoTech 25 Years

May 4, 2016

Pacotech

When PacoTech turned 25 this year, they wanted to celebrate their anniversary and share their achievements with their customers. They approached Prism to design a 25-year graphic to add to their current brand materials. However, with 25 years under their belt, Prism suggested that it was a crucial time for PacoTech to look to the future, build on their successes, and consider a brand refresh.

PacoTech is an information management consulting group that helps Fortune 500 companies in organizing their information resources. PacoTech looks at business records from a global perspective to help companies in controlling the creation, maintenance, retention, and disposal of their records.

To visualize PacoTech’s modern mission, Prism integrated both type and symbol in creating their logo. We designed the “o” symbol to represent how the company organizes their clients’ resources on a global scale.

The new logo then inspired our design of the complementing 25-year anniversary graphic. Born out of the global “o” and the criss-crossing linear elements was the triangular shape that is their unique 25-year anniversary graphic.
