An Invitation We Couldn’t Refuse.

by

We just received a unique invitation: “Art on Water Call for Entries” from the Art Colony Association folks here in Houston. They are inviting us to install an original floating, stationary or kinetic piece in Houston’s City Hall Reflection Pond for display during the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown, October 10-11, 2009. We’re working on a “bean” rendering to submit for consideration. 15 pieces will be chosen from the submissions.

We’ll be posting our ideas soon. Meanwhile you can read about the event here.

Congratulations on the recent news about Prism’s participation in this event. I will look forward to seeing the Prismatics’ entry; arranging for live satellite coverage may be slightly more difficult. Way to go!
